Hello, The new SILC Client based on the new upcoming SILC Toolkit 1.1 is now available for testing. This is very alpha version and huge amounts of problems with it are expected. You are encouraged to test it and report any fatal bugs (crashes). Download it from: http://silcnet.org/priikone/silc-client-1.1-pre0.tar.gz Compile it: ./configure --enable-debug make The client is in apps/irssi/src/fe-text/ directory. You may also give make install, but it has not been tested. Most basic things should work pretty well but detaching/resuming does not work at all, and neither does file transfers. Channel private keys may also not work. Private keys for private message should work as well as key agreement. As a new feature key agreement can now be done on UDP transport (/key msg foobar agreement 1.2.3.4 5000 udp). Currently, I am especially interested in hearing about any crashes that most likely will occur. If it happens and core file is dumped, do the following: gdb ./silc core.XXXX then give command 'bt' in gdb, and send me whatever it prints. Happy testing.
