Multiple Routing Tables with different costs

I am trying to implement a variation of traffic engineering in NS2.
Planning on making a scheme which uses two (or more) routing tables and
divides traffic between them over the same network topology.

Which NS2 files should I make changes in and what sort of changes will I
need to make? Also a helpful tutorial regarding modifying NS2 functions
would be appreciated.
