  Dear all,

This is my firs time with siproxd so the problem might be obvious, but I
found no clues about it.

Situation:

We have an asterisk which is operational and handles IP phones.

I'd like to add a few SIP client within the office (PC and mobile
phones). These client are in different networks than the IP phone VLAN.
Some do have a NATed access to the asterisk but not all. This is why I
want to have a SIP proxy in place.

asterisk server: in VoIP VLAN
siproxd server: one leg in VoIP VLAN and one in an office VLAN
accessible to all.
clients: in office VLAN

My problem is that while I have a working config for the client for
direct connection (using Android sipdroid client right now), when I add
the proxy connection I cannot register.

I checked the traffic on direct connection and proxy connection (in the
later case on both segments) and found that the difference is that when
I try to connect through siproxd, the 401 Unauthorized answers coming
from the asterisk are not getting though to the client.

The excerpts from the communication can be found here:

My configuration is rather plain (below are the not defaults):
Inbound and outbound interfaces set up appropriately.
hosts_allow for reg and sip with client networks
chrootjail (with hosts and resolv.conf)
debug logging enables

Any ideas or pointers for where to look?

Regards
Bgs
