I'm confused. When going back to the old firmware and restore the old
config I can use siproxd as before. However I still get the 'too many
hops' message.

I will dig into the issue of new firmware does not work anymore
separately, but want still to ask for help on the "too many hops" topic.

I looked into the dumps and what I get is

TK.5062 > siproxd.5060: SIP: OPTIONS sip:kai@voip SIP/2.0
siproxd.5060 > TK.5062: SIP: SIP/2.0 483 Too Many Hops

The dumps show the telephone system sends with "Max-Forwards:0" which is
rejected by siproxd for obvious reasons.

However, the system still works, so not processing the options message
is not an issue (or it works because of not processing, who knows).

What is the intention of the options message and what does it mean it
does not get processed?

Best regards, will try a systems update the next weekend,
kai
