I'm tracking my desktop's memory guzzlers at the moment and I noticed that slrn is using what looks like considerable amounts of memory: In top I see the following: VIRT : 15336 RES : 14m These look like rather high figures since I just fired up slrn via a: $ slrn -h myisp.host .. and did not download any message headers. I'm just sitting on the subscribed newsgroups list. On the other hand, it does not look as if the memory consumption increases much once slrn is started. Would anybody know what the memory is used for? And whether this high memory usage is a symptom of my not having configured slrn correctly?
