How exactly can I check that? -- I can confirm that c_Ctrl-U works in vim for example, in the shell etc., and, most importantly, with slrn-9.8.1 compiled against slang1. > does a redraw fix the display of slrn? Yes. As I said in the mail *body*! ;) Redrawing also works after the error message that is displayed in a second line. But when a slang *macro* throws an error it just is displayed /somewhere/ on the screen and garbles the display (can be fixed by manual redraw). BTW, typing <space> starts a new line with indent, or, as I realized when pasting the following with screen, maybe an overlong line: Pipe to command: less +G Above was done by typing "|less +G" w/o quotes. > does it happen in all prompts? Yes. Well, at least in all the prompts I tried. c -- _B A U S T E L L E N_ lesen! --->> <http://www.blacktrash.org/baustellen.html> ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
