Implemented now for latest S-Lang, thanks to John E. Davis:

slsh version 0.7.7-1; S-Lang version: pre2.0.7-58

Not in Slrn yet ;)

More problematic is the "first space becomes overlong line"
issue; this didn't happen in Slsh at all.
