Ok, I'll chime in ;)
I have set up a mercurial repository for some tools I use to make
Slrn MIME-aware:
<http://www.blacktrash.org/cgi-bin/mercurial/SlrnMime/>
Prerequisites: S-Lang 2 and Python.
If there's interest I can make a version of the slang-scripts
that's compatible with S-Lang 1 -- if I have time.
Some of what it does:
Displays all text parts of message.
Converts html to text, if message is html-only
(mailinglists news.gmane.org).
Makes an educated guess in case of invalid/missing/wrong
charset declaration and displays corrected message.
Macro to word wrap body text to preconfigured width.

Same here.
