Which S-Lang version do you have installed? You can find out by: $ slrn --version | grep S-Lang My guess is you still have S-Lang version 1 (because the || operator is not supported by S-Lang 1); my further guess is that you have installed the HEAD of the default branch instead of the slang1 branch. In case both guesses were right you have 2 possibilities: 1) in case you have cloned the repo with Mercurial: $ cd SlrnMime $ hg update -C slang1 2) download the HEAD of the slang1 branch from: <http://www.blacktrash.org/hg/SlrnMime/archive/ff9741710930.tar.gz> (or navigate there via the Mercurial web interface -- there is a branches section) In the long run you might be better off (with Slrn in general) by building svn HEAD of S-Lang and cvs HEAD of Slrn yourself. Thanks for trying out my scripts; don't hesitate to ask if you encounter more problems; you're welcome to do so off-list if it only concerns my scripts. c -- Make Slrn newsreader read MIME (Python required): <http://www.blacktrash.org/hg/SlrnMime/> ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
