Hmm, has anybody tried them yet? The only feedback I got was from
Christian. So I don't know if the patches work so good or if just
nobody ever tried them ;-)

A short mail from anyone using my patches would be nice.

I could also do the integration into the cvs of that patches if any
of the maintainers would give my access to the CVS.

I think the documentation is at the moment the main issue.
Taking a look at the doc part of the CVS in
<http://slrn.cvs.sourceforge.net/slrn/slrn/doc/>
everything is older than 2 years. And all the config options
slrn 0.9.8.1pl2 complains about to be obsolete are still
mentioned there.

I would write the to sections for the slrn manual.txt about the two
new options of my patches.

When you take a look at the slrn versions the distributors ship it
might be indeed a very good idea to release a new official version
of slrn, even if it is not 1.0.0 but 0.9.9, but please have
something newer than 0.9.8.1 on the website.
