I might try the debian package - but we are talking about the release of a 1.0 version here. Am I wrong to expect that this should find its way on its own? Current errors: ./configure: line 1328: AM_MAINTAINER_MODE: command not found ./configure: line 1330: syntax error near unexpected token `slrn,' ./configure: line 1330: `AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE(slrn, 0.9.8.1pl1)' There's many other warnings while using e.g. automake or the local autogen.sh, such as BUG.am: `install.sh' is an anachronism; use `install-sh' instead There may be a problem with (my?) aclocal, mine is aclocal (GNU automake) 1.10 /usr/local/share/automake-1.10/am/depend2.am: am__fastdepCC does not appear in AM_CONDITIONAL /usr/local/share/automake-1.10/am/depend2.am: AMDEP does not appear in AM_CONDITIONAL src/Makefile.am: C source seen but `CC' is undefined ... ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
