think "signed messages" with gpg or pgp.
how common are those? pretty uncommon.

.. so far.

it might all change as soon as the good
newsreaders give some support for this.

remember the GNKSA? it is time to revive this!

i have had example some yeards ago..
at the time i hoped that development
would be as fast as our ideas.

no. i think that slrn should generally support
mime messages ("with attachments of all sorts"),
so i can use it as a reader for mail folders, too.

mutt does newsreading for some time now -
so why doesnt slrn support mail folders?!

like i said... i will test slrn 1.0.0.
been waiting for that one for *years* now,
so i just might wait a little longer. :-)

let's see... what else was there?

Sven's wishes for slrn-0.9.8.0: add feature from mutt:
a single line dialog to switch the sort order. add sort by sender.
add a display_filter. add a "limit" command. add header/body coloring.
add up-to-date help page on current key binding with searching.
add "reverse_alias" to show realnames of senders.
"--help" gives outputs *all* help. (patch by Michael Prokop exists).
pager: show *all* search matches on the current page. change of
default: set followup_string "* %r <%f> [%D]:" (language independent!)
Thomas: offline reading, setup files: continuation lines.

ok... i think this is quite enough. ;)

Sven
