As I recall, the windows-specific makefile has no install target, mainly because I am not familiar with windows at that level, and others create windows-specific binaries (e.g., <http://www.paneura.com/~dino/wjed.html>). The reason I ask, is that you will need slsh to be installed to build the current development version of slrn. When I find time, I plan to integrate slrn into my nightly builds, where I also cross-compile using mingw32. But that is done on a Unix system and is no substitute for a proper windows build. I am more than willing to accept patches for a windows-specific install target. > There are problems with linking, but i don't know if its not a problem of > msys w32api (i used w32api-3.10). > > http://totn.republika.pl/slrn/slrnmsyserr.txt > > Mingw32 makefile - I can't properly add paths for slang.h > Why old > SLANG_INC = ../../slang/src# Location of slang.h > SLANG_LIB = ../../slang/src/gw32objs# > doesn't work? You may need to compile using -DSLANG_DLL=1. As I recall, a dll gets build under windows, whereas the above assumes a static link.
