I have all the relevant "warning" options turned off, but Google Gropes
insists on generating these ridiculously long Message-Ids. I'd like an
option to turn the warnings off, at least when nothing in the References
line can conceivably be removed without inconveniencing other Usenet users.
I can "force the posting", but I don't want to get into the habit, in case
I forget to rewrap some quoted text one day. I *want* to be warned when
*I've* made a mistake, but I *don't* want to be warned when I'm innocently
replying on-topic to an on-topic Usenet post.
I can also tweak the source code for my own use, but I'm not sure that new
slrn users will be able to do that. Would it be possible to fudge strict
RFC-compliance for cases like this?
