slrn has no roadmap, no milestones...
so noone but JED himself knows when
it will be ready for release...  *shrug*

i have been waiting for a release for years now.
all development is spread across the web in
many different places.  it is unclear whether
some code will be incorporated as a patch or not.

and so many problems can easily be solved when
slang 2.0 comes out... or slang 3.0... whatever.

it might be here just after the next debian
release - but probably before hurd comes out.

dont hold your breath.  there
might be a release some day.
