Judging by the questions I see in news.software.readers, nobody but me reads 
the manual anyway. :-)

Leafnode is another program that's long overdue for a release.

I use leafnode and have no interest in slrnpull, but others may want slrnpull 
to be maintained. Asking for feedback in news.software.readers on the idea of 
droppng slrnpull development might or might not be useful.

It would be interestng to see if slrn pre0.9.9 works with the separate Debian 
package of slrnpull (currently 0.9.8.1pl1). It's possible that the two 
programs could be separated.

So should <http://slrn.sourceforge.net/>, which is currently so completely 
identical to <http://www.slrn.org> that I suspect one is a mirror of the 
other. At the very least, the obsolete reference to CVS sources on 
<http://slrn.sourceforge.net/patches/> should be updated; I was unaware that 
there existed a Subversion repository until you mentioned it on Usenet.

Change
	<a href="http://sourceforge.net/cvs/?group_id=7768">public CVS</a>
to
	<a href="http://sourceforge.net/svn/?group_id=7768">public SVN</a>
and there will be far fewer complaints about slrn being "broken".
