Weird.  The files were there, but many groups were missing and groups I had
been subscribed to I was now unsubscribed to.

This latest slrn was the only thing I have updated in the last month or 2.

My new server motzarella.org has been playing up a little lately giving 503
errors, but can't see that causing local behaviours like this.
