0.9.7.4 => 0.9.9pre69; gnupg.sl stops working

Mac OSX 10.4.11.

I have been using 0.9.7.4, as installed by Fink.
Fink has Slang 1.4.9 installed.

With a little work I got Macports to install
0.9.9pre69. Macports has Slang 2.1.3.

gnupg.sl (for pgp-signing posts) doesn't work
with 0.9.9. I assume that has something to do
with the differences between Slang 1.4.9 & 2.1.3.

If anyone knows of a gnupg.sl upgrade I'd be
pleased to get directions to it. Please don't
spend any time on this, however: Fink and Macports
install things in different directory trees, so
I can use both slrn 0.9.7.4 and slrn 0.9.9, as
I please.

There's a color-editing macro, color.sl, which
works with 0.9.9, and a mixmaster.sl, which
creates a reply but doesn't seem to send it.
