You may also want the latest version of the FAQ, which I've changed this 
morning to replace obsolete references to the "charset" variable. However, 
the FAQ is still nowhere near as ready for use with 0.9.9 as manual.txt, so 
you may not want to add it to your tarball for a while.

score.txt isn't generated from SGML, so patches can be submitted directly for 
inclusion in SVN. However, here's my current score.txt if you want it:

You may also be interested in my latest working version of the FIRST_STEPS 
file: <http://pjr.lasnobberia.net/slrn-doc/FIRST_STEPS.txt>. This is the 
result of conversion to SGML, and you'll find both SGML source and a HTML 
version on my site. Whether the advantages of an HTML version of this file 
outweigh the disadvantage of imposing the complexities of SGML on yet another 
part of slrn's documentation remains to be seen, so I'm not going to submit a 
patch based on this version until I've thought about it for a while.

However, I really ought to be concentrating on documentation changes that are 
*essential* for a 0.9.9 release - not least the README, which I've just 
noticed still suggests contacting Thomas S.
