slrn web site: testing address

Hi,

I have placed the work-in-progress version of the new slrn web site
online where it will remain until 'change over' with the old site.
Reason:

1. For comments and corrections
2. So it won't be a great shock when the old one vanishes :-)

although this is only a very early version. A few points:

1. All email addresses are ASCII munged.
2. Layout is flexible within limits
3. .htaccess file is not present in this mock-up but will be working
   on the main site. (primarily 301 and 404 redirects).
4. Empty pages will look a little odd until main page content exceeds
   the left navigation size i.e. when content is added :-).

Having had a forward look at work / home obligations and with a good
understanding now of the material involved with the site I would say
the work will be complete in 4 weeks from now.
