The problem is with the server.  What slrnpull will do after
retrieving the articles in the range 5606-2126026959 is that it will
mark 2126026959 as the last number fetched.  On following runs it will
look for articles with numbers larger than 2126026959 (This is why it
started at 5606=5605+1). If on a subsequent run the server reports a
smaller range, e.g., 3340-9720, then slrnpull will not see them.  And
if as reported above, #227 exists where previously #301 was smallest
number, then is #227 to be regarded as a new article?  If so, then the
numbers in your newsrc file have no meaning.

I hope this helps clarify things.  Incidently, -120 is the latest.
