I'm running slrn 0.9.8.1pl1-28 and vim 1:7.1-138+1ubuntu3 on ubuntu
8.04. When I try to reply or follow up to a newsgroup article I get an
error message that the editor has returned a non-zero status. This only
happens in slrn. When I call vim to edit a file everything is normal. My
slrn.rc file looks like this:

% Set your favourite editor. Use %s for the file name and %d for the line
% where the cursor should be placed (usually at the beginning of the
body).
set editor_command "vim '%s' %d -tmp"

Found some references to this problem by googling but they were no help.

Does anyone have an idea what's going on?
