Compiling slrn under minGW32

Hi,

I have successfully compiled the svn S-Lang under windows XP / minGW32
courtesy of the _very_ explicit directions given in INSTALL.pc.

However the instructions for slrn in doc/install.w32 bear the message:

!!!!!!!!  FIXME  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The following information is outdated and needs to be rewritten.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and my blundering around with mingw32-make certainly made not much of
a dent on the slrn source code. Is there an easy way to compile slrn
using MinGW-5.1.4?
