Technically speaking, you do not need my patch if that's all you
want to do. Scoring an article higher than min_high_score will
color it in the vanilla slrn.  My patch is useful if you want to highlight
*other* posters as well.

A non-macro way of doing something very close to what you want
is this.  I have this in my .slrnrc

#v+
    % Flag direct replies to my posts
    Score:: =10000
    References: rudy@news\.server\.org>$
    % Flag non-direct replies to my stuff
    Score:: =9999
    References: rudy@news\.server\.org
#v-

If you select one of the threaded views (ESC-S 9 Thread, then
sort by date (most recent first), all THREADS you've posted to
appear at the top of your list. It will not bump up the score of
*every* article in the thread, so it won't work in an unthreaded
view, but it should do what you want in threaded views.
