Re: slrnpull shutdown problem

Questions,., in case you have time.
It says, starting with a dot, but the one here is a dot by itself, right 
? Just out of curiosity, how does the server distinguish between 
intended and accidental dots by itself ? Does
it continue parsing the text even after the EOM dot to do this ? Could 
it be that the "spammer" did
something intentionally ?

Earlier I used to reduce the number of message fetched to minimum (in 
slrnpull.conf ), to avoid
fetching the messages causing shutdown. Since the problem was repeating, 
I though of reporting
it to slrn list.
