Realnames with dot.

Hi John, hi slrn users,

I try to understand, why trailing dots in realnames (like, for example,
Robert E. Grimm) are replaced in read_localpart() resp. read_dotatom(),
so that it is displayed as Robert E  Grimm in the header pane.
Maybe this is needed for other users of read_dotatom() and unintentional
for read_localpart()?

I have seen that fullstops are not allowed in a phrase, nonetheless
robert.grimm is shown correctly, so this might not be the reason.
