This was a problem with the get_charset function, more specifically with
this line in mime.sl

  private variable Mime_Save_Charset = get_charset ("display");

It is that line which causes the segmentation fault. For now I have
changed it to:

  private variable Mime_Save_Charset = "utf-8";
  
and everything is okay.

And slrn now processes mime messages very nicely!
