I did give the docs for mutt,slrn,nano a once over, along with google

the format they are in are similiar to "man" pages, never could do these 
well,

I prefer the the "HOWTO" format they were experimenting with around
the time www was coming out

thanks for the urging to learn myself, going to have to get used to the
format they are in, at least for now
