Back in the days, there used to be a macro called identity.sl that did
the trick.  The original site that hosted it seems to be gone, but
googling for it yielded a page that has a copy of it:
http://michael-prokop.at/computer/config/.slrn/identity.sl

Not sure if that is the most recent version, though.  It also seems to
me it will require some time to figure out how to tweak that macro to
one's needs.  I don't think I ever used identity.sl, so I don't have
any sample config for it that I could share.
