No all things are closed while fetching.

That may be the problem, the newsspool runs on a ReiserFS 1.5.31 but
this works well without the patch.

Seems to be a problem with locking, the snstore is rapidly slow down
after patch and flying without it.

Is it possible to cut the flock changes from the patch? Then i can
recheck this part again.
