Well, it is quite hard to determine your error when you
don't tell us what is the error message.

1) Are you sure about your POST variable set?
2) Are you sure the daemon has the right to write to the spool?
3) What happens when you telnet to the server on NNTP port,
issue a 'post' command, put 'newsgroups:whateveryouhave',
type some chars and end your procedure with '.'? Does the
server accept the post?
