problem with sn server

Hello dear sn users,

i have a little problem with my sn installation. I have an news server account 
where i have subscribed on some newsgroups. I configured sn to download 
new articles from these groups when ever i connect to the internet.
This seems to work properly.
When i try to access the sn server with a newsreader program from a client in
my small home network and start to download a great number of articles that 
mostly contain binaries, the sn server crashes after a while with the following
message:

Sep 13 17:50:26 internet inetd[317]: nntp/tcp server failing (looping), service terminated 

I am using a SuSE distribution version 7.1
