I wrote one yesterday. It, like sn, it not suitable for large lists of 
newsgroups, but my need is to manage small lists. More and more vendors 
are creating their own news servers (e.g., news.vmware.com) for their 
products.

Thus, it downloads a complete list of newsgroups, shows you which ones 
sn already downloads, and lets you pick which ones you want to add or 
remove. It looks up all the news servers that sn knows about, and lets 
you pick each one from a list, or add new ones.

I'll post it to my web site after I've had a few days to polish it.
