Hmm must be from some newsgroup. My snget prints all action to stdin,
same when with starting line

su news -c "/usr/local/sbin/snget -p3 -c4 2>&1
>/var/log/news/snget.log" &

The Logfile is always empty, seems the redirect wont do the announced
job:( This had worked some months ago, the installed bash 2.03-6 can
redirect within all other scripts.

Can someone check the logging conditions on his system, please?

All Logs are empty, cause i do not look to them many times, this fault
was silent.
