Hmm, sounds like problems inserting messages into the database alright.

A core file is a memory dump of the program that crashed. You can
debug where and how the program crashed by running "gdb path/to/snsend
snsend.core".

I don't have an OpenBSD system to test on, so I don't know how much I can
help you with this...
