No more logfiles with snget

Hello,

please take a look at my script for fetching. Since the last update it
gives me no more logging.

su news -c "/usr/sbin/snget -p2 -c4 -m500 2>&1
>/var/log/news/snget.log" &

If i remove the "2>&1" i get a log mailed from crontab, i tried the
"-d" Option from the manpage but it takes no result. What can i use to
get a logfile again?
