It worked fine to build on win32, I used another gcc inctance then the one in mingw, I used the one in "GNAT GPL" http://libre.adacore.com/libre/ and added a project file. Ther was one patch though but it obvious when compiling and I'm confident that i sent the patch back. /Per On 10/28/2010 04:20 PM, John Schultz wrote: > I saw both questions, but I'm not familiar with Delphi or MingGW, so I refrained from responding. If your platform supports ANSI C (1989 standard), BSD sockets and select, then it should easily port there. It uses autoconf scripts which should allow it to port to most *nix platforms very easily. If you are in a different kind of environment, then you made need to provide the appropriate #defines in the architecture specific files (e.g. - arch.h). You can use the win32 portions as a guide on how to do that. > > Cheers! > > ----- > John Lane Schultz > Spread Concepts LLC > Phn: 301 830 8100 > Cell: 443 838 2200 > > On Oct 28, 2010, at 4:22 AM, coderalpha wrote: > > Ok. I asked because of the lack of traffic on the mailing list. I am investigating Spread on an R&D project and posted a question about building it with MinGW and someone else asked a question without any replies. That is usually a sign of a dead project. > > > > ---- On Thu, 28 Oct 2010 02:43:31 +0200 John Schultz<[email protected]> wrote ---- > > Not at all.
