Spread and VMware

Hey guys,

is there any issue known to using spread in a vmware?
I am using open suse 11 on a vmware. Starting the spread daemon is no  
problem but if I try to connect a client with sp_connect, I get an  
could not connect error. The same executables work on a normal non- 
vmware env.

Now I read about some adjustments on the vmware itself but that didn't  
work out.

Any ideas why the spread can't connect?

I am using spread4.1/c++
