Kyle,
Spread is working as designed here. On a fast, well-behaved, single segment LAN, then you should be able to safely reduce all the membership timers (set near the top of membership.c) by a factor of 10.
Cheers!

Hello, Spread team!
I have a technical question about Spread toolkit.
Here is my spread.conf:
Spread_Segment 192.168.127.255:4803 {
"192.168.127.1" 192.168.127.1
"192.168.127.2" 192.168.127.2
"192.168.127.3" 192.168.127.3
}
Each computer runs a spread daemon for sending/receiving messages with each other.
However, if one computer unplugs it’s network cable, the others cannot send and receive messages about 10 seconds.
Is this a known issue, or is it by design?
Is there any configuration to shorten the timeout?
Thanks for reading!
Best regards,
Kyle Hsieh
