Spread and Windows

hi there.

i'm using spread (server) on a linux box and i have some windows clients 
(XP and above) which connect to the spread server.

unfortunately, the last version of spread which supports windows is 4.0.
are there any plans to support windows ??
or maybe only the client library ??

some time ago i saw some other posts asking this, but i didn't found any 
answerts in the mail archive..
