However, there does tend to be a strong windows focus. More detailed discussions of OpenSSH in a unix environment are often found at the OpenSSH developers list. It is a good resource but not as much for production level problems (unless they happen to be the result of a bug in the ssh code). Once I have some free time - I have no idea when that will be - I'll be doing my best to release a cygwin implementation of the HPN-SSH patch set. http://www.psc.edu/networking/projects/hpn-ssh This enables larger buffer sizes for high speed networks. This can dramatically improve throughput. It also enables cipher switching - this allows you to switch ciphers midstream. I use that to re-enable the NONE cipher after a fully encrypted authentication. I had one available for a while but its old I lost the installation scripts. If anyone out there have a good set of SSH install scripts (say for NSIS) I'd love to get my hands on them.
