Hi All I'm new to the list. Unfortunately I arrive with a problem I'm trying to solve. I installed the Windows openssh port on a Windows XP Professional machine. I initially setup simple password authentication which worked well. I tested if both from a Linux and OSX client. I then setup authorization keys using ssh_keygen. I generated the public key on one of my *NIX machines and copied it over to the Windows box and then attempted to connect. I can see that it makes the connection successfully, authenticates the dsa key, appears to send the environment and then bam... it disconnects from the server with some "channel 0" chatter. I don't know what it's failing on. I tried setting different sshd_config options to no avail. I did set StrictModes off as recommended. I also turned off PermitUserEnvironment. I'm still having problems. Does anyone have a suggestion?
