Adam's post won't make it to the list (he unsubscribed), but mine will... On Tue, Mar 11, 2008 at 02:56:11PM -0400, Dawson, Adam wrote: > Well, you could say I was immediately able to unsubscribe. So..I'll let you know > if they have an IT job open. Might be a great fit. Feel bad about myself. Right. FTC? Yeah. They care about a mailing list that you voluntarily signed up for but cannot figure out how to unsubscribe. And, emailing [email protected] would have been way too complicated. Hell, for all I know, your IP address may have previously been blacklisted because you're a spammer. > Speaking of, you should check out the British sitcom called "The IT > Crowd." Very fitting today, not to mention hilarious. It's like "The > Office" for IT folk. I think you can see some of it on youtube. ... > At any rate, glad it's working now. OTOH, yelling at one's list-members does > not generally endear them to you, Mike (evil grin) This guy (Keith Glass) is currently greylisted. I haven't seen this message yet. While it is not my intention to be a jerk, I have no obligation to take abuse from or to endear myself to people using up my resources for their benefit. I offer this mailing list for you to use for free. If you run into problems unsubscribing from the list, I'll happily refund you 100% of what you paid. > Keith > > Security Geek * Curmudgeon at Large * Short on Sleep > > On Tue Mar 11 14:07 , Mike Erdely sent: > > Wow. Clearly "unsubscribe@" is wrong... But, there was nothing done intentionally to prevent you from getting off the list. You were probably blacklisted for some reason. > What do I need to do to get off of this list?
