I have released version 5.48 of stunnel.

Version 5.48, 2018.07.02, urgency: HIGH
* Security bugfixes
  - Fixed requesting client certificate when specified
    as a global option.
* New features
  - Certificate subject checks modified to accept certificates
    if at least one of the specified checks matches.
