Whatever, the key problem with using fixed, special filenames doesn't go away, it still "breaks the web" as TimBL would have it. I think a sensible, pragmatic solution has already been suggested - use <link> tag(s) in the <head> of the relevant index.html (or whichever file is delivered at ../ ) Chers, Danny.
