Here's what we do. Users can subscribe by submitting an RSS url or a 
'normal' URL. If it's a specific RSS file, we're done.

If it's a normal URL, we first check to see if any feeds already in the 
database reference that URL. If so, if there's only one, we subscribe 
the user to that feed. If it's more than one, we present a list and have 
them choose.

If the URL isn't in the database, we go through the auto-discovery 
process. If that results in multiple feeds, we again present a choice to 
the user.
