I have to say I dislike the 3 pane approach that makes a news reader 
look like email. I much prefer reading it in the style of a blog.

And mostly, I spend a lot of time clicking through RSS items to view the 
underlying web page. So it makes complete sense to me that the RSS is 
presented in the browser. Maybe that's why I have no problem with entity 
encoded html in the descriptions.
