We don't have a choice. Blogger will only be publishing Atom feeds for their blogs. That's what, 1 million plus feeds? It's not a question of which format's technically better, who's got a better personality, or what the phase of the moon is. If Blogger were to publish feeds using only carrier pidgeons, we'd have to build an aviary. Not giving our users the ability to subscribe to those feeds would be suicide.
