Seems that Kimbro Staken disagrees with the "elegance" of the MetaWeblog API: <http://www.xmldatabases.org/WK/blog/587_Metaweblog_and_other_Syncato_bits.item> I definitely trust Kimbro's take as a developer, and am highly skeptical of most things coming out of Dave's keyboard (especially code). Make your own appraisals, but I, for one, am glad I never had to implement the MetaWeblog API.
