I don't see anything which restricts you from saying:

<rdf:Alt>
   <dc:description>Alternatives</dc:description>
   ...
</rdf:Alt>

I adapted my version (http://www.xs4all.nl/~foz/su.test.rdf) with 
descriptions, and it validated.
